Sarnia, ON – Basic home composting workshops are being offered at two local libraries in celebration of Earth Day and to welcome spring. Participants have an opportunity to win a composter at each of the workshops. Pre-registration is required for this FREE program by calling the individual library.
Jeff Baarschers from DeGroot’s Nurseries will be at the Mallroad Library on Wednesday, April 22, at 7:00 p.m. The eligible home composter for this event has been donated by DeGroot’s Nurseries. For more information and to pre-register, please call the library at 519 542-2580.
Local environmentalist, Brenda Lorenz, will be at the Point Edward Library on Monday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. The home composter at this event has been donated by the Village of Point Edward. For more information and to pre-register, please call the library at 519 336-3291.
