Wyoming, ON – Sarnia-Lambton’s biggest book club is back! Residents of Sarnia-Lambton are invited to participate in One Book, One Community 2009, where everyone reads the same book…and talks about it.
This year, readers can share in the moving stories of unforgettable characters Addy and Sharla in, Lori Lansens,' "Rush Home Road." Set in a fictional town near Chatham, the story draws on the rich history and hardships of the black community in the area.

The internationally acclaimed Canadian writer and Chatham native, will be speaking at Sarnia Library Theatre, 124 S Christina Street, August 31 about her new book, “The Wife's Tale.”
Tickets are available for this Showcase Literacy event from sponsors, Organization for Literacy (519 332-4876), or the Book Keeper (519 337-3171). Readers may also win a free ticket by visiting their nearest Lambton Library branch.
Lansens is a much sought after speaker and her experience as an actress and screenwriter are reflected in the sharp dialogue and visual quality of her writing. Readers may also enjoy Lansens' compelling story, "The Girls."
