Wyoming, ON – Celebrate Canadian Library month and Ontario Public Week, October 18 to 24, by rediscovering what your library has to offer. Today's library features Internet access, including wireless Internet, online research assistance and electronic databases, DVDs, CDs, audio books, e-books, and of course, books, magazines and newspapers, all FREE! Computers can be booked by calling your local library.
Local author, Bob McCarthy, will be at the Sarnia Library Theatre on Sunday, October 25 at 2:30 p.m., for a book signing and reading of his book, Strands of Time, a collection of Stories of Sarnia Lambton. Also included is a violin medley by Caitlin Mason, a historical slide presentation of Sarnia-Lambton, Sarnia-Lambton poetry ready by members of Writers in Transition, and an opportunity to view the O'Meara violin, a painting of early Sarnia as well as a collection of Sarnia postcards.
Library Headquarters will be having a used book sale on Saturday, October 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Library Headquarters is located on 787 Broadway St., Wyoming, behind Lambton County's Administration Building.
