"Responding to a disaster is exciting, nerve-wracking, boring, scary, rewarding, heartbreaking, frustrating, sad, tiring and wonderful. It is an amazing adventure even if you get scorpions in your shoes, big snakes in your garden, wild dogs outside your tent and rats in your toilet. " As a member of the Canadian Red Cross, YMCA Peace Award winner, Bonnie Kearns, has been deployed to many disasters, including Ground Zero in New York, Hurricane Katrina, Afghanistan and Pakistan. This presentation is about adventure, celebrating differences, and following the dream.

December 1 - Healthy Eating for the Holidays and Beyond will help eliminate the need for at least one pesky New Year's resolution. Community Health Services Dietician, Connie Malette, brings us tricks for hearty and healthy Holiday celebrations.
