New preschool sessions begin the week of March 8 at most Lambton libraries.  Tales for Tots is a thirty-minute program designed for children ages one and two and their caregivers. Story Hour is a one-hour program for the three to five year old. Included are songs, stories, fingerplays, activities, and crafts developed to stimulate and create an early interest in reading. Sessions are generally six-weeks in length.  French Story Hour is also offered at the Alvinston, Corunna, Petrolia and Sarnia libraries.  Please contact these libraries for more information.

Electronic Database of the month -   Got questions…get answers…real life answers with the Teen Health and Wellness online resource, available through Lambton County Library's website.  From dating to dyslexia to dealing with parents, Teen Health and Wellness separates the myths from the facts and makes complex topics understandable.  This electronic database, funded through Knowledge Ontario, is available at www.lclmg.org and does not require a library card to access.  

Many branch libraries offer Book Clubs for adults and children on a monthly basis.  Enjoy a lively discussion and meet others who share your love for reading.  Contact the individual library offering the programs to pre-register and for more information.
