Wyoming, ON – Opening Doors to the Future, Your Library, Your World is the theme of this year's Ontario Public Library Week, October 17 through October 23. More than just books, today's library combines traditional and emerging technologies as they continue to be a centre for life-long learning. Libraries are also an access point for government information and services through ServiceOntario. To celebrate, participants who use the ServiceOntario website, while at the library during the week, will receive a book bag, bookmark or pen.
Lambton County Library's 26 branches offer Internet access including wireless connection, DVDs, CDs, audio books, MP3s and of course, books, magazines and newspapers! Open 24/7, the Lambton County Library website at www.lclmg.org, is available to book a computer, reserve materials, get research assistance and to access electronic databases, ebooks and audio books, all FREE! And, don't forget to check out the great programs, for all age groups, posted on the website.
