Wyoming, ON – Lambton
County libraries are reminding students to “get carded @ your library”, the
most important Back to School item this fall.
These free library cards allow access to the library's collection
including online Homework Help eResources, available on the library's website
at www.lclmg.org.
A
variety of online reference and learning databases are available for students
of all ages including Britannica,
CultureGrams, Kids InfoBits, A to Z World Culture, Canadian Almanac and Today's Science. BYKI,
a language learning tool, is also available.
Students
of all ages, including post secondary, can utilize askON a real-time online chat information
service that offers immediate, interactive, and knowledgeable research and
reference help.
Or
visit your local library to access our print resources including information
books, dictionaries, almanacs, encyclopedias and fact based DVDs.
To
register, bring your identification to any branch library with your name and
current address. Children in grade 8 or
under require the signature of a parent or guardian.
