ON – The Sarnia
Library presents Zombiefest on Saturday, October 29, 2011 in the Sarnia Library
Theatre.
Saturday,
October 29 from 12 pm to 5 pm:

“Night of the Living Dead” will be shown in
the Sarnia Library Theatre. This movie
is credited with starting the Zombie theme in popular culture. The movie is rated AA and all attendees must be
18 years or older or be accompanied by an adult. This is the original 1968 black and white
version by directed by George A. Romero

A Zombie Walk will take place from 2-3pm where
people dress as zombies and wander the sidewalks of Downtown Sarnia to get
people into the Halloween spirit. People
under 18 will need a parent or a signed permission slip available at the
Reference Desk. Zombie walkers will gather in the Sarnia Library West Room
before departing.

3:30 p.m. The Last Man on Earth - one of the
movies that inspired the zombie movement!
It is the story of a survivor of a plague that turns humans into zombie
vampires who spends his days hunting them down.
The movie is rated AA and all attendees must be 18 years or older or be
accompanied by an adult.
Both the Zombie Walk
and the movies will be followed by an optional discussion. Admission is free; however, the library will
accept donations of canned goods and other non perishable items for the Inn of the Good Shepherd Food Bank. Please
