Lambton County Library Calendar of Events for October 2011

Wyoming, ON –  October is Horror month at Lambton County libraries.  Get your bone chilling movies and books at your library or reserve your copy from the library catalogue at www.lclmg.org. Subscribe to NextReads and receive a monthly newsletter with "Horror" book suggestions.  Many of our libraries are also featuring some thrilling programs including "Zombiefest" at the Sarnia Library Theatre, haunted house at the Courtright Library and many activities and crafts at other libraries.

Library Headquarters will be having a used book fair on Saturday, October 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.   With a small donation, books and other items are available for purchase.  A donation of 50 cents per children's book and $1.00 per adult book is suggested.  Proceeds from the book fair are used to enhance the library system.  For more information, please call 519 845-3324.   Library Headquarters is located on 787 Broadway St., Wyoming, behind Lambton County's Administration Building.

Find your science and technology information online at www.lclmg.org.  eResources include Science in Context, Today's Science, Computer Database, as well as Gale Virtual Reference Library of eBooks, a database of encyclopedias and almanacs.  A library card is needed to access.

Please PRE-REGISTER for all programs except those specified as a “DROP-IN” by contacting the individual library. Preschool programs requiring registration are currently underway; however, some branches offer the programs as DROP-INs and welcome all new participants.

Our programs are free unless otherwise noted. Visit www.lclmg.org for further details.  If you live outside of Wyoming’s local calling area, contact us at our toll-free number, 1-866-324-6912, with your questions or concerns.
