Camlachie, ON – The official opening of the new Camlachie Library will be on Saturday,
January 7, 2012. Residents of the County
of Lambton are invited to share in the celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony at
the library’s new location at 6745 Camlachie Road between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
The
library's new location is at the former Camlachie United Church. The building has been renovated by the Town
of Plympton-Wyoming to accommodate the library in the upper level and a future Cultural
Museum in the lower level.
Camlachie
Library’s hours of opening are 4-8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, and 9:00 a.m. –
1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The library offers free services to the public
including programming and Internet access as well as wireless Internet. The library’s programs include Tales for
Tots, Preschool Storytime, homework help, a book club and a craft club. For more information on these programs and to
