A library card is needed to access most databases.

Databases are available until December 31, 2015.

  1. Click on the database you wish to search.
  2. For remote access, type your 14-digit library card number.  Note:  You may be required to enter a username and password.
  3. Refer to Search Tips for assistance on searching the databases.
    • Basic Search - multiple topics or single topics
    • Advanced Search - for finding something specific, such as an article title or author name
    • Subject Guide - authoritative results for single topics
    • Publication Search - to find a particular source
    • Tips - tips for searching
  4. Information from the databases may be printed or sent by email.
  5. Online help is available for each of these databases. 
  6. Contact your local library for further assistance if needed.

TumbleBookLibrary (www.tumblebooklibrary.com) is an online collection of ebooks for children in grades K-6 (approximately). Existing children s books are licnesed for use then animated using the existing illustrations and adding audio narration. The collection includes old time favorites such as The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch, Diary of a Worm, How I Became a Pirate, Miss Malarkey Doesn't Live in Room 10, One Duck Stuck, as well as favourite fairy tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk and Old Mother Hubbard.
